The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) and the visiting Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), saw Mary Persons's soccer squad get by Howard by a margin of 2-1.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Central for a AAA Region 2 test on Friday, February 25. Mary Persons will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Rutland (Macon, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Howard drops to 2-3 on the season. The Huskies host Rutland (Macon, GA) to meet the Hurricanes in a AAAA Region 4 test on Friday, February 25. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 2-2. Rutland lost 4-0 in their recent league test against West Laurens (Dexter, GA)
