The United Longhorns baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Alice Coyotes to 0 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Thursday.
The Longhorns (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Davenport (San Antonio, TX). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Davenport nipped Alice (Alice, TX), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Alice falls to 0-3 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Rouse (Leander, TX) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Rouse lost 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Dobie (Houston, TX)
