Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ), 8-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Notre Dame Prep upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Saints host Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Friday, February 24. The Titans come into the test with a record of 1-1. Arcadia lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ)

With the defeat, Marcos de Niza falls to 0-2 on the season. The Padres travel to Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league test on Friday, February 24.
