The Lake Country Lutheran Lightning (Hartland, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Kingdom Prep Lutheran Wolfpack (Wauwatosa, WI), 69-54 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lightning (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Brookfield Academy (Brookfield, WI). The Blue Knights go into the Midwest Classic test with a 18-5 record. In their last test, Brookfield Academy notched a victory over St. Francis (St. Francis, WI), 78-72, in a league test.
The Wolfpack now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to South Milwaukee for a non-league test on Friday, February 24. Kingdom Prep Lutheran will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 65-57 non-league win over Greendale (Greendale, WI). The Rockets record now stands at 11-12.
