The Metro Academy Mavericks (Shawnee Mission, KS) basketball nipped the host Southern Missouri RUSH * (Springfield, MO), 49-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mavericks (23-15) will now prepare for their test against Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool (Tulsa, OK). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record.
The * now own a 31-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln HomeSchool for a non-league test on Friday, February 24. Southern Missouri RUSH will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 65-36 non-league win over Lighthouse Christian (Springfield, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.
