North Carolina High School Basketball - Watauga crushes Northwest Guilford

Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), 58-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Watauga upgrades its record to 22-6 on the season. The Pioneers host South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Sabres in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. The Sabres go into the bout with a record of 24-4. South Mecklenburg won 79-57 in their recent non-league bout against Asheville (Asheville, NC)
