In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Union Parish Farmers basketball team scored a good 47-30 triumph over the Westlake Rams.
In their next game, the Farmers meet the Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 27. Union Parish will attempt to better on its 19-5 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 28-7 record after their 66-51 non-league win over West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA).
With the defeat, Westlake moves to 9-9 on the year.
