In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Tri-Cities Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 8-2 win over the Langston Hughes Panthers.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Banneker (College Park, GA). The Trojans go into the 5A Region 5 battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Banneker was overwhelmed by Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA), 13-0, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars go into the 6A Region 5 battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Alexander nipped Wesleyan (Norcross, GA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
