In Thursday's non-league game, the Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Whitefield Academy WolfPack (Mableton, GA), by a final score of 7-0.
The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region 5 game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Mt. Zion nipped Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA), 4-1, in a non-league game.
The WolfPack (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA). The Patriots go into the 1A D-I Region 6 game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Mount Pisgah Christian was overwhelmed by Paideia (Atlanta, GA), 8-2, in a league game.
