The Cibola Cougars baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Albuquerque Bulldogs to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Sandia gained a win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 24-1, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Del Norte was overwhelmed by West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 13-2, in a non-league match.
