Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), saw Pioneer's baseball squad knock off Milpitas by a count of 10-1.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Bellarmine College Prep Bells (San Jose, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 28. Pioneer will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bells enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA).
