In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Dorman Cavaliers lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 victory over the Mauldin Mavericks.
The Cavaliers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host J.L. Mann for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 28. Dorman will face a Patriots squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Mavericks face the Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 25. Mauldin will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC).
