Lake Minneola Hawks (Minneola, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Apopka Blue Darters (Apopka, FL), 15-2 in a league battle.
The Hawks now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host All Saints' Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 28. Lake Minneola will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 11-8 non-league win over Bartow (Bartow, FL). The Saints record now stands at 2-2.
In their next game, the Blue Darters clash with the Windermere Wolverines (Windermere, FL) in a 2A D5 battle, on Wednesday, March 1. Apopka will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Wolverines come into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL).
