The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Nation Ford Falcons (Fort Mill, SC) and the visiting Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC), saw Nation Ford's lacrosse team top Catawba Ridge by a margin of 19-2.
The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Clover (Clover, SC). The Blue Eagles enter the 5A District 3 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Clover beat White Knoll (Lexington, SC), 11-10, in a non-league challenge.
The Copperheads (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, T.L. Hanna was overwhelmed by Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC), 12-4, in a non-league challenge.
