The Odyssey Institute Minotaur the host Agua Fria Owls softball squad by a final score of 9-7 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Minotaur (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ). The Wranglers go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Wickenburg by Bagdad (Bagdad, AZ), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
The Owls now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to American Leadership Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 28. Agua Fria will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 1-5.
