The Amarillo Sandies softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Montwood Rams to 12 in the Sandies non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Amarillo improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Sandies travel to Eastwood (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Troopers in a non-league game on Friday, February 24. The Troopers come into the game with a record of 5-5. Eastwood won 6-3 in their recent non-league game against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX)

In their next game, the Rams clash with the Coahoma Bulldogs (Coahoma, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Montwood will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Monterey (Lubbock, TX).
