Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) and the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), witnessed Belen's softball squad prevail over Los Alamos by a count of 15-4.
The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 28. Belen will face a Demons squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Demons record now stands at 0-1.
