With the loss, Texas City falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Stingarees host Episcopal (Bellaire, TX) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Episcopal won 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Agnes Academy (Houston, TX)
