Coahoma Bulldogs (Coahoma, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hanks for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. Coahoma will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Midland (Midland, TX). The Knights record now stands at 10-0.

With the loss, Montwood falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Socorro (El Paso, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Socorro lost 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Paetow (Katy, TX)
