George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Longhorns now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Bend Travis for a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. George Ranch will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 11-8 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Danbury falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX) to battle the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Sharks enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Shadow Creek lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Pearland (Pearland, TX)
