El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ), 17-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Aztecs now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon del Oro for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. El Dorado will face a Dorados squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Eastmark (Mesa, AZ). The Dorados record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Nogales falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Apaches travel to Mountain View (Mesa, AZ) to face the Toros in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Toros enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Mountain View lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Americas (El Paso, TX)
