The Mitchell Mustangs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Hudson Cobras to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Mitchell improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Gulf (New Port Richey, FL) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 28. The Buccaneers come into the game with a record of 0-1. Gulf lost 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Hudson (Hudson, FL)

In their next game, the Cobras clash with the Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL) in a 4A District 5 game, on Friday, February 24. Hudson will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 15-0 league loss to Citrus (Inverness, FL).
