Mississippi High School Softball - Leake County loses to Ridgeland

The Ridgeland Titans softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Leake County Gators to 6 in the Titans non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Ridgeland improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Titans travel to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS) to clash with the Rockets in a 5A Region 3 game on Friday, February 24. The Rockets come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Gators clash with the Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 25. Leake County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS).
