In Friday's non-league game, the host Mohave Accelerated Patriots baseball team scored a tight 19-16 victory over the Ash Fork/Seligman Spartans.

The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ). The Crimson Knights go into the 2A West game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Trivium Prep tipped Scottsdale Preparatory Academy (Scottsdale, AZ), 5-3, in a non-league game.
