In Friday's non-league game, the host Franklin Cougars baseball team scored a tight 10-4 victory over the Yuma Criminals.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Caballeros go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Flowing Wells was overwhelmed by Hanks (El Paso, TX), 5-3, in a non-league game.
The Criminals (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Irvin was overwhelmed by Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ), 7-2, in a non-league game.
