The Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY), 62-50 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (17-13) will now prepare for their test against Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Panthers go into the District 9 test with a 23-6 record. In their last test, Daviess County notched a victory over Union County (Morganfield, KY), 86-49, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-26 record. They play next when they host Fort Knox for a District 17 test on Monday, February 26. John Hardin will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Brown (Louisville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-20.
