In Friday's non-league match, the host Lake Blue Streaks basketball team scored a tight 57-50 triumph over the Austintown-Fitch Falcons.

In their next game, the Blue Streaks meet the Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 24. Lake will attempt to move on its 5-16 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 14-7 record after their 89-84 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, OH).
