Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH), 92-80 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pymatuning Valley upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season. The Lakers host Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-13. Lake Catholic lost 80-71 in their recent non-league bout against Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 1. Conneaut will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record.
