The Continental Pirates basketball team scored 53 points and held the host McComb Panthers to 40 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crestview for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 28. Continental will meet a Knights team coming off a 74-44 non-league win over Leipsic (Leipsic, OH). The Knights record now stands at 15-7.
The Panthers (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Old Fort (Old Fort, OH). The Stockaders enter the non-league contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Old Fort ran past St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH), 92-43, in a league contest.
