In Friday's non-league match, the host Cushing Tigers basketball team scored a tight 57-51 triumph over the Oologah Mustangs.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Mannford Pirates (Mannford, OK) in a Tulsa Seven match, on Saturday, February 24. Cushing will attempt to better on its 16-10 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 12-14 record after their 48-43 non-league win over Skiatook (Skiatook, OK).
With the defeat, Oologah moves to 13-12 on the year.
