Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) and the visiting Northridge Raiders (Middlebury, IN), saw DeKalb's basketball squad hold off Northridge by a tally of 43-39.

With the victory, DeKalb improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign.

Next up, the Raiders play the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Northridge will attempt to improve on its 19-6 season record. The Kingsmen come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 64-57 non-league loss to Merrillville (Merrillville, IN).
