In Friday's non-league outing, the North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) basketball squad edged the host Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY), by a count of 61-58.
The Jaguars (16-14) will now prepare for their outing against Jackson County (McKee, KY). The Generals go into the District 49 outing with a 11-16 record. In their last outing, Jackson County was tipped by Casey County (Liberty, KY), 70-66, in a non-league outing.
The Generals now hold a 8-21 record. They play next when they host Tates Creek for a District 43 outing on Monday, February 26. Lafayette will clash with a Commodores squad coming off a 73-65 non-league loss to East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 4-22.
