The Moore Lions (Moore, OK) basketball nipped the host Lawton Wolverines (Lawton, OK), 59-53 in Friday's non-league test.
The Lions (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Edmond North (Edmond, OK). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 21-3 record. In their last test, Edmond North got by Mustang (Mustang, OK), 68-60, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 16-8 record. They play next when they host Putnam City West for a 6A District 2 test on Saturday, February 24. Lawton will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 61-45 league win over Eisenhower (Lawton, OK). The Patriots record now stands at 10-14.
