The Shamokin Area Indians basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Midd-West Mustangs to 53 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Columbia for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 27. Shamokin Area will meet a Bluejays team coming off a 53-44 non-league win over Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA). The Bluejays record now stands at 14-9.
