Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Mary Persons will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA).

The Greyhounds now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peach County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. Jones County will face a Trojans team coming off a 1-1 non-league Rutland (Macon, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
