California High School Lacrosse - Huntington Beach can't get by San Clemente

In Friday's non-league test, the visiting San Clemente Tritons lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Huntington Beach Oilers.

The Tritons now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Alamitos for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 28. San Clemente will face a Griffins squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 1-3.

In their next game, the Oilers face the San Juan Hills Stallions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 28. Huntington Beach will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Stallions come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Edison (Huntington Beach, CA).
