Georgia High School Soccer - Oconee County knocks off Pike County

Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors face the Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Oconee County will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Jasper County (Monticello, GA).
The Pirates now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mary Persons for a 3A Area 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 27. Pike County will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Jones County (Gray, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
