The Austin Black Bears softball team (Decatur, AL), was routed 5-0 in Friday's non-league test with the visiting Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL)

Coming up next, the Wildcats clash with the Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 24. Tuscaloosa County will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Thompson (Alabaster, AL).

The Black Bears (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Curry (Jasper, AL). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Curry edged Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL), 10-1, in a non-league test.
