Autauga Academy Generals (Prattville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North River Christian Chargers (Tuscaloosa, AL), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Generals now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Chambers Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 26. Autauga Academy will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, North River Christian falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Chargers host Coosa Valley Academy (Harpersville, AL) to battle the Rebels in a AISA AAA Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Coosa Valley Academy lost 8-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Sparta Academy (Evergreen, AL)
