The Holmes Huskies softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Brandeis Broncos to 5 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Holmes improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Huskies host Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the WILDCATS in a 6A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, February 27. The WILDCATS come into the game with a record of 6-4. Sotomayor won 8-6 in their recent non-league game against Llano (Llano, TX)

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Madison Mavericks (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, February 27. Brandeis will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Mavericks come into the game with a 8-5 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Lake Belton (Temple, TX).
