The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Maypearl Panthers (Maypearl, TX) and the visiting Dawson Bulldogs (Dawson, TX), saw Maypearl's softball squad achieve victory over Dawson by a count of 10-2.

The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host International Leadership of Texas Keller for a non-league match on Friday, March 1.

With the loss, Dawson falls to 7-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, February 23. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 2-1. Rosebud-Lott won 25-0 in their recent non-league match against Reicher Catholic (Waco, TX)
