The Lions now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 26. Santa Gertrudis Academy will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Edinburg North falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Martin (Laredo, TX) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24.
