The Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) softball the visiting Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), 11-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Golden Tors (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Hahnville was routed by Quitman (Quitman, LA), 8-2, in a non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Ruston for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 24. Grant will confront a Bearcats squad coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to Jena (Jena, LA). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-2.
