Socorro Bulldogs (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Henrietta Bearcats (Henrietta, TX), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Birdville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. Socorro will face a Hawks squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Mercedes (Mercedes, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Henrietta drops to 2-2 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX) to clash with the Angels in a non-league game on Friday, February 23. The Angels come into the game with a record of 3-2. Incarnate Word Academy won 21-6 in their recent non-league game against Keystone (San Antonio, TX)
