The Whitesboro Bearcats softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Independence Knights to 3 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Whitesboro improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Randall (Amarillo, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league game on Friday, February 23. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 4-7. Randall won 11-4 in their recent non-league game against Denton (Denton, TX)
