California High School Baseball - McClatchy defeats Davis Sr.

February 23, 2026: Davis, CA 95616

In Monday's non-league game, the visiting McClatchy Lions baseball team scored a close 9-3 triumph over the Davis Sr. Blue Devils.

With the triumph, McClatchy advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions host Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA) to battle the Lancers in a Metropolitan Conference match on Wednesday, February 25. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 1-3. Cordova lost 6-2 in their recent non-league outing against Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA)

The Blue Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Vacaville (Vacaville, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Vacaville tipped Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA), 6-1, in a non-league outing.
