With the triumph, Sumner improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Cowboys travel to St. Scholastica (Covington, LA) to face the Doves in a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 24. The Doves enter the contest with a record of 1-1. St. Scholastica lost 18-7 in their recent non-league bout against St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA)

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 27. Mt. Hermon will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Varnado (Angie, LA).
