California High School Baseball - Nipomo holds off Atascadero

February 24, 2022: Nipomo, CA 93444

Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nipomo upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Titans host East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to battle the Blades in a non-league test on Friday, March 4. The Blades come into the test with a record of 5-2. East Bakersfield lost 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Porterville (Porterville, CA)

With the defeat, Atascadero falls to 0-1 on the season. The Greyhounds host San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA) to battle the Tigers in a Mountain test on Wednesday, March 2. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-2. San Luis Obispo won 4-0 in their recent league test against Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA)
