The Alhambra Moors topped the host South El Monte Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Moors now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gabrielino for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 1. Alhambra will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, South El Monte moves to 0-1 on the year. The Eagles host Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA) to face the Grizzlies in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 1. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a record of 0-2. Calvary Chapel lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA)
