In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), by a margin of 65-42.
The Lions (25-3) will now prepare for their outing against Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 32-2 record. In their last outing, Parkway smashed Northshore (Slidell, LA), 82-41, in a non-league outing.
The Cowboys now own a 21-9 record.
